If only the plot doesn't suck. Disney had said that it's a limited series, probably will only last a season or two and that's it.

There was a multi-media project in the 90's called Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, described as a movie without a movie. Among other things a video game was made where you play as a smuggler called Dash Rendar who rides around to places with his droid and his ship called The Outrider, which can be spotted in the special editions of "A new Hope" leaving Mos Eisley.

The story takes place in between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi. I think this would be alot more interesting to see as a miniseries than the Solo Movie.  And yeah, you'd obviously have to CGI and Mo-Cap Luke, Leia etc as per the new standard of seeing old characters in SW.

This latest and wild Nascar race was so insane that the ending resulted in about 20 cars completing the race! Must be another Daytona in this Coca-Cola 600 event.

@ 10:22, this soviet submarine design entices my imagination. Looks like something from Half Life 2 or some other dystopian or post apocalyptic sci fi game.

4 composers doing the music in Tempest Rising minus Frank Klepacki.... reminds me of C&C3, RA3 and C&C4 when several composers are as great as one Frank Klepacki.

The gameplay, graphics and the interaction are really dope, strangely why EA back at the time could not execute anything like this to their C&C games back then. EA made things too simple (and missing some RTS concepts/elements) and relies on quantity instead of quality.

Games set in the same universe as Tempest Rising, and also 3DRealms started the Duke Nukem franchise and so there are stylistic paralells of that general theme.

Actually Ion Fury, Phantom Fury and Bombshell are part of the Bombshell series, led by the same female character of Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison. I wonder if she's the long-lost sister, cousin or nephew of Duke Nukem?
