TLHotTA 1.1 - final version of the mod, which fully changed the game:

  • Using normal maps models have become more crisp and realistic
  • Units have different model conditions, which makes game more interesting
  • Unique projectile system for more realistic physics
  • Player now can build really big stone walls, which able to place units

The Last Hope of the Third Age is waiting you!
Special thanks to:
-DarkWarrior - testing.
-Annatar - models of golem, werewolf, fire atronach and vampire. Help with graphic.
-Kromarti - models of chaurus and werewolf.
-Str1ker - launcher.

-User NDC from The3rdAge - for unique importer, which helped me.

Installation:
-Launch installer and install the mod;
-After installing on the desktop appear shortcut;
-Run the game with shortcut;

Note:
-To activate and deactivate the mod use the launcher, located in the game folder\shortcut on the desktop;

Version has six factions: Gondor, Mordor, Angmar and Arnor, Mithlond and Rhun.

Changes version 1.1:
-Added new units and heroes;
-Updated stone walls;
-Optimized AI;
-Many bugs were fixed;

Cooool.  I especially like those new structural pieces.  My only concern are those super steep ramps on that inner Men faction fortress wall.  Those should probably be steps instead of a ramp, since that is super steep.  But yea.  These would be some great pieces to see inside of world builder.

This is very impressive. Particularly I like what I think must be a new Wight, that glowy skeletony thingy. Yeah. I like that.

Pasidon, big walls are very inflexible for skirmish, so I had to find compromises and some solutions may look stupid, but only this way it works)

Well, I finished the mod and with the last version I want to upload sources to public access:

backup code - has IronHills (fortress with upgrades, barracks and 3 unit kinds).

Also will be link on graphic sources (~18GB) - my bfme working directory of 3ds max. There are original textures, some different variants of models etc.

Don't know someone needs it or not, but I upload it to filespace anyway and share it)

So, there is graphic sources: click

Archive size - 17.8GB, unpacked size - ~40GB.

In Autoback, scenes, scenes_campaign and scenes_notebook folders you can find .max-files for 3Ds Max 8.

meshes has final w3d-files, textures etc. for the game.

Sources from February 2014 to August 2014 were lost =\
