I have been having the same issue from day one with TW3 but Kanes Wrath works fine.

Strangest thing though... today when i tried it again for kicks it actually worked...  

But of course once i logged out and back in its back to the "cannot connect to backend server" once again

I have not been able to get TW 3 working online since day one of the switch over from gamespy to revora

@Granola17: That is not the correct registry key. So I must assume that hooking does not work for you. I'll try to come up with a manual solution soon.

It worked today once out of the blue but when i tried a second time... no good

today when i launched from the cnc online an EA window popped up asking for me to sign in (never happened before), then once i did i then filled out my login name and password

in game for online play from scratch... seemed as if it was starting from scratch like a new game, all worked i was so surprised after all this time with the "could not connect to backend server"

message. Unfortunately once i logged in the second time and it associated the acct to my existing revora acct with all my usual nicknames it would no longer work and back to

the same backend server message

 

All in all a weird day 

I was actually online for a few minutes but only 4 people were signed in and none were playing so i didnt even get to get a game in :(

Why was i removed from this post? I have been trying to get this problem fixed for TW3 ever since the switch over and would like to be there if a solution is finally found...
