I'm looking for someone to manage voice acting for Shadow and Flame.

 

Kwen, DunedainRanger and myself are very busy working on the mod and don't have time to dedicate to finding and communicating to potential voice actors.

 

Your job would be quite simple; make an account on voice acting websites (probably just Voice Acting Alliance), post a thread looking for actors (we will provide the content for this thread), and then regularly check for takers, communicate with them through PM or e-mail, send scripts, receive and pass on auditions/samples, until all roles are taken care of.

 

If anyone's interested in helping us out with this bit of management, let me know.

i want to help i will post a thread i will try to find voice actors but some sounds can be taken from the movies too right ???

I think it's best if we settle for some with a bit more experience (yes, this is a job interview ). Thanks for the offer, though.

 

As to testing, I'll let you know about that once we start. We've got a bunch of people already interested, so it depends on how active these people will actually be.

If you're looking for vocal actors, I'd love give it a try (I suppose I'd probably be most suited to evil characters and animalistic noises).

 

Though I think managing recruitment might be a little too much on the plate for me at the moment.

well to tell you the truth i have no experience with interviews but i was ready to help i made an account in voice acting alliance too, well if you do not find a better guy i can try and help you guys out

No, the looking for actors would happen on specialized communities. 

 

Managing recruitment isn't as time consuming as you think; all you do is check the thread once a day, respond to messages, receive samples, post a link in staff, etc. Doesn't take more than 10 minutes a day I think, but it's something the three of us simply can't add to our ever-expanding to-do lists.

You can consider me as a candidate. As you already know, I am technically trained in the realm of audio and music. I'm capable of audio post production, music composition and various types of editing with specialized softwares so I think I can handle a few recordings.

 

But I need to know what you offer in return.
