I am unable to play "online" games on my LAN. This includes versus online or co-op. LAN skirmishes work as expected. 'Online' games also work correctly with players not on my LAN.

 

I can get as far as clicking 'play', but it errors with "Connections are in progress, or connection problem detected. Please wait for the connection to finish, or kick the player who has the connection problem. Failed Connection: 1-2"

 

Both computers are running Windows 8, with RA3 1.12 via steam.

 

I have tried both 'no ip' and '192.168.x.x'. 

 

Has anyone else gotten co-op working with someone on the same LAN?

I am afraid that this is a known problem with RA3 players sharing a single internet connection.   You may be able to connect if you try for long enough.    The best advice, until we come up with a solution for the problem, is to try to use different internet connections, even if you are in the same household.    I'm sorry about that; it is on our to-do-list.

Not at the moment, no. We will look into it in the near future when we've finished the work we're currently doing.
