I was following some tutorials on the3rdage and it always tells you to go to the data\ini and go modify all the cool stuff, but I don't have any \ini\ folder, my "data" just has "cursors" and "movies" (I'm looking at the place where I installed LOTR, not %appdata%).

I've also downloaded a thing that lets me open .BIG files, if that has any relevence (but the majority of the ones I open seem to be in binary..)

Here's an example of a page that tells me to go to the /ini/ place

You should create the ini folder where it's supposed to be and extract all the necessary files to there so you can edit them.

Hi,

you'll need to extract the corresponding .ini files from a .big archive (for example INI.big) with a tool like finalbig.

For an overview see http://www.the3rdage...item-60?addview

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

I have it open in the editor but I don't see an "extract" option; I tried "ctrl + " every key but nothing happened.
