Hi , i bought RA 3 on Steam and i followed the guide, i' have installed Launcher then i have hooked but  i can't see any Prompt  on screen, i dont have any Antivirus installed yet . 

What can i do? now the game don't want to start with normal launch too.

• What operating system are you using? Windows 10 ( i tryed to launch the launcher as administrator with XP compatibility but nothing ...)

If hooking doesn't work for you, try to download this zip, and run files inside them.

There are two registry scripts inside this zip file, RA3IFEO.reg and DELETERA3IFEO.reg, they will add/remove registry entries from your Windows Registry, to allow hooking and unhooking.

By running "RA3IFEO.reg" you will able to hook your game.

 

After having hooked, you should see a check mark inside the hook menu of your C&C:Online Launcher.

Then you just need to start your game normally (from your Desktop shorcut), a C&C:Online Launcher will automatically pop up, click "Red Alert 3" button in the launcher and you should be able to play RA3 without any problem.

 

When you don't need the hook anymore, if you can't unhook your game directly from you C&C:Online Launcher, you can try to open "DELETERA3IFEO.reg", it will remove registry entries related to hooking.

i runned RA3IFEO.reg,  i checked on C&C Online anche it's Hooked but the game don't want to start!

Is there a C&C:Online Launcher popping up automatically when you started your game from your Desktop shortcut?

No , no one poup ,  it doesn't work at all! But if i unistall C&C online the game works fine.

Have you tried to run your game as administrator?

How can i start a Steam game as Administrator?

Try to create manually a Red Alert 3 shortcut, don't use that shortcut created automatically by Steam.

Don't start with Exe in the game folder :(

What happened when you excetuted your RA3.exe? Nothing? Or it tells you some error messages?
If you unhook your games (Use DELETERA3IFEO.reg if you can't unhook in your launcher, will game start?

ok if i use RA3IFEO.reg the RA3.exe say me "impossible to find  file "E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam|steamapps\common|Command and Conquer Red Alert 3\RA3.exe" . Verify if the name is correct, then retry. (sorry if not esactly but i have Italian Windows version and i have translated the Error Message) .

The if i use DELETERA3IFEO.reg the RA3.exe will start

Try this: launch your game normally (without hooking), and after having successfully launched your game, open your C&C:Online Launcher, and click the "Red Alert 3" button in the launcher.
Then tell me if you can login;
It it doesn't work, post your Error log again.

So practically you can't even launch it from Steam while your game is unhooked?

esactly , but don't know why ? 5 days ago the game works Unhooked.

Try to uninstall and reinstall the launcher..

Try to open the Windows Registry Editor (Press [Win]+R, then write regedit and then press Enter)

Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\

And please check if there is a subfolder called "RA3.exe". If yes, delete it.

ok now the game starts again but only Unohooked.  is windows 10 problem?

 

tryed to launch from the launcher with the game still open but nothing
