Note: using an Origin version of a normal ra3

Hello all!

So I followed the guide, did everything I was supposed to, then tried to log in by filling in all the relevant info but all I get is a Disconnect Notification saying "Could not connect to Red Alert 3 Online"

Because of that i thought it was a connection issue so I read and tried the solutions from the common issues thread but the problem still persists. At one point while testing the connection I went and experimented by not filling out anything and logging in. This time I got a different Disconnect Notification saying "The transaction timed out before receiving a response". Because that changed I tried different tests on the login:-

Filled gibberish on the EA account name (E-mail) and left everything else empty

  • Just typed in "asdasda"
  • Got a different Disconnect Notification saying "The specified account or subaccount name wasn't found"

Used the correct email but a gibberish password and left the onlineID empty

  • Typed in "asdasda"
  • Got a different Disconnect Notification saying "The user supplied an invalid password"

Used the correct email and correct password but left the onlineID empty

  • Got a different Disconnect Notification saying "The specified onlineID or account name is already in use. Please try using another one"

Used the correct email and correct password and gibberish onlineID

  • Used "asdasdasdasdasda" (asdasda was already taken lol)
  • Got the same Disconnect Notification like the original, "Could not connect to Red Alert 3 Online"

Then after all that I tried the login solutions from the common issues thread but it still didn't change anything

The CNCOnline_Log.txt:

----- C&C:Online Launcher Start -----
Game: Red Alert 3
Red Alert 3 Install Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Red Alert 3\
Started game with: "RA3.exe "
Caught CREATE_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT from Red Alert 3. Detaching...
Found game.dat process. PID 5268
*** Starting CA public key patching routine ***
CA public key is expected value.
Successfully patched CA public key.
*** Starting hostname hooking routine ***
Injecting DLL into game.dat process...
Result of injection: Code -1073741582

So thats about all the info I have. Any help will be really really appreciatedd been wanting to play ra3 online for so longgg~ (Starcraft just doesn't feel the sameeee)

Thanks!  :thumbsuphappy:

I am afraid that your problem is a connection issue caused by your internet provider, Tm.net, who block TCP port 6667 (Peer Chat), which these games need to connect to the server. That problem existed under gamespy too. We are looking at a solution for that issue at the moment but you should not expect to see it for a couple of months at least. In the meantime, you need to use a different internet connection (perhaps a mobile connection) or try to find a service to bypass Port 6667.

A (high-quality) VPN would be the obvious choice.

Anything used to circumvent this problem needs to tunnel out of your own network without using Port 6667 though. You need to check on that.
