Hi guys,

Another question for you.

I did an awesome map but now i wanna to add an abyss in the middle. The problem is I, at the beginning of map, set height of all map to 50.

So my HUGE abyss can go down at maximum of -50 (from my level that is +50).

I'm thinking about changing the initial height so for example shift all heights up  (+200 or +300). But idk how to do.

Can you help me?

Thanks mates.

Under file go to resize. There should be an initial map height that you can change.

Ye i know. Standard initial height value is 8. If i change it seems it doesn't change height map. so if i use "Height brush tool (H)" and set on value 0 the height doens't change from the previous level.

Use the height brush tool and create a brush the size of your map, that will raise all of the map at the same time.

Make the brush bigger than the map.

See screenshot. This should explain it to you. You need to set the Brush width really high, I have set it at one hundred thousand, but you might need more than that, or that might be overkill. *shrugs shoulders*

You don't need any Brush Feather Width, the Brush Height should be more than you need. Click only once, if the brush is big enough it will cover the entire map, check and see if you got the added height you need.
