I'm back to playing C&C 3 now that a fix for modding Ultimate Collector's Edition has appeared but C&C Online won't launch the game.

You need to run the launcher "as administrator". You can do that, either by right clicking the launcher icon (shift right clicking in Windows 8 onwards) or from the launcher properties (right or shift right click click to get the "properties" menu item, hit that and then select the "run as administrator" check box under the "compatibility" tab).

Ok so now how do I setup an account? I don't remember the name I had with my EA Account.

You don't need to use an EA account to log in (but if you want and if you remember your old nicknames you can restore your old statistics from your old nicknames associated with your EA account), just login with your C&C:Online username, C&C:Online password and a nickname.

I'm running into the password is invalid error but the guide points me to my revora settings home page. Where is the option to set my C&C Password?

I am not sure what you mean. The guide directs you to "My Server Account" on the C&C:Online web site. You need to log into the site (which you do with your credentials from here) to access that page.

However, I can see a possible problem with your existing server account password. You need to make a password with plain text and without special or control characters such as an ampersand (&) character.

OK so for some reason I actually ended up in the FAQ at the bottom of that page and was looking in it's response to invalid password and that is what led me to my account settings here rather than on C&C Online's account settings.

 

This time I spotted where I was actually suppose to go and now I have it working. Thanks for sticking with me.

hello, since I upgraded to Windows 10 I get this error when I start cnc3. (I run as administrator and I uninstalled / reinstalled the game but still see the same error)

Please could you make your own topic in this forum. Your issue does not have much to do with the topic at hand, which is marked as solved. If you make your own topic, it will help other players with the same problem find a solution.

When you do that, please post your error log. See; How to Report Issues. There's not much we can do to help without that.
