for me i never see those fmv's on new pc but on old xp pc was fine

 

at the moment using vista 64bit

 

is possible to get them to work?

Is because game needs an old codec. Download and install this, on the installer make sure to choose custom option, and uncheck "indeo browser plug in" otherwise the installation freezes, but leave everything else checked.

Then you need to change compatibility option, to do this right click on the icon for the game, go to properties, then compatibility, and check the first box and choose Windows XP SP3 from menu and then click ok.
