I have C&C Online installed, Red Alert 3 installed through Steam and I created a shortcut and hooked it, but nothing happens when I try to launch the game please help.

Please try this:

Delete the shortcut you made while hooking

Run Steam as Administrator

Make a new shortcut

Hook again (with the Launcher run as Administrator, of course)

There is no option for me to run the shortcut in as administrator.

Hold SHIFT and rightclick it.

 

...or go to the installation folder (somewhat steam games) and then run as admin.

I don't know, nothing is working. Game just doesn't want to run.

If you unhook your game (by clicking "Red Alert 3" again in the hook menu of C&C:Online) will you be able to start your game?

That's the problem too even after I unhook Red Alert or even uninstall C&C Online, Red Alert still will not launch. I've tried reinstalling the game but that doesnt work either

Press [Win](That key on keyboard with a Windows logo)+R
Write regedit and press Enter.
Then navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\currentversion\image file execution options\RA3.exe

And post a screenshot of your registry editor (regedit) Window here.
