Hello, I was wondering if it is possible for me to get my user name changed on this site?

I'm trying to use the C&C3 Online program, and the EA Account name area won't let me type in my whole name because its too long, and I didn't know there was a limitation there.

 

I'd like to take out the "Aegyptiacus" ending and just have it at "Spinosaurus". If that is alright? Please?

You will probably find that that will not help you. What you should have done was to have gone on to the C&C:Online web site and set up your server account. From there, you can set up a "server login name" to use to log into the game. That can be different to your account name here.

I suggest that you do that now.

I clicked the link and it said when you click log in,

"The username and password is the one you use for the Revora Forums"

So I typed in:

Spinosaurus

and the password I use, and then it said this:

This account has not been activated yet. Please follow the activation link sent to you by e-mail.

 

Which is impossible because if I hadn't activated my account, then I wouldn't be able to comment or make a topic hear at all.

And I even double checked and already have the validation email, and even clicked on the "to validate" link, and get this:

 

"We could not find the validation request you are attempting to verify. This is likely because you have already validated your account, or an administrator has validated your account for you. Please try to login with your registration details now."

 

So..I have all the requirements right? Am I doing something wrong?

 

Added I tried to register as a test, and it says my gmail and name is already in use. Soo....whats going on here?

 

I would really like to be able to play multiplayer with other people.

All in all, that looks like a pretty major screw up . Your email (which, if everything had gone according to plan would have been copied from there to the server) was missing from the server database. I've added that manually. Please could you attempt another log in to the site, using your existing user name. If that does not take the matter forward, we will have to call for Phil, who designed this system.

Okay, I just tried it.

It still says "This account has not been activated yet. Please follow the activation link sent to you by e-mail"

Also I noticed on the CNC3 on line login in-game, it doesn't accept the AT symbol.

That's right. Your server login name (which you will set when you access the site) cannot have that character. I don't want to try to activate your account manually because that has caused issues in the past. Some of the information required to activate your account manually is also missing. I'll wait to see what Phil has to say about it.

Alrighty, I went back to the CNC Online link, entered my name and password, then it shifted to
"Oh you don't have a server account and password, create one now"

So I entered a name and password, and that went through A-Okay!

So it should work now right? (I am on my phone right now)

I just hopped on my pc and switched tiberium on, and it let me log in and everything! It works! Thank you so much for this
