My friend entered " other countries " so now he can't play online with us, it wont connect him with us. How does he change region again? We tried reinstalling the game, C&C:Online, new accounts on both revora and C&C but game just wont ask him again for region select, it just skips that part out. Help please, thanks <3

The region shouldn't affect playing with others

If he really, really wants to reset his region, he can open C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth Files\LoTRB4MEOnline\GSMiscPrefXXXXXXXXX.ini, where USER is his Windows username and XXXXXXXXX is the ID of his Profile, which he can find in the My Profiles section on the website. In that file he has to delete the line Locale = XX and change CachedStats = \locale\XX\... to CachedStats = \locale\\....

Yeah, we changed region and still he can not connect. You got any solutions? We tried port-forwarding, disabling firewall... He always gets that icon for " failed connection ".

You can also change the region by creating a new "profile" (not to be confused with the online profile) from the main menu. You have to set up your hotkeys and preferences again if you do that though. The first time you go online with the new "profile" the game will ask you for your region.

Presumably your friend has looked at the Common Issues & Solutions thread under "connection issues" and will have tried to set his computer as the "DMZ"?

He did that too. We set DMZ IP to his IPv4 IP Adress right? It says to Host IP adress, does it mean of the host of the game, ot just his IP? We did it like that (to his IP adress), enabled, and rebooted. Still connection failed, with firewall down and port-forwarded. We tried every solution there is in the "Common Issues & Solutions".
