Generals Zero-Hour Suggestion (Port Forwarding Instructions)

People still seem to have a hard time connecting despite gentool.

 

I suspect people still haven't forwarded their ports and set their static IP addresses in Windows.

 

Would it be possible to put these instructions on the online welcome screen?  This way people don't have to google it, and we can be assured everyone follows the correct instructions?

 

I feel this is the natural place for this, and I'll gladly write up the instructions on setting a static (preferred) IP address, and forwarding the appropriate ports.

It was a 2 year fight but there is a link now that lead you to everything that you need. To put the instructions there is not possible since every router has their own system.

Alpine, make amends for all of your sins (well maybe some of them) and help this guy; "Could not connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour online!" message!. He now has a player to player connection problem.

I roasted in the bann-fire for 6 months so i should be sin free by now :p. But i will help the guy anyways.
