No, that's not a bug. Instead of actually deleting the nickname, we now simply deactivate it. You can activate it again in your account page on the T3A:Online website.

I have tried to delete my nickname just to see if the "Delete Nickname" function was working properly. Well it did remove my nickname from the nickname bar but when I tried to login using the same nickname again, it said that the specified nickname could not be used as it is in use by another account etc...
I wanted to know if this was a bug because I really wanted to use this particular nickname and I should be able to use it as no one else is...

The profiles didn't show up in my account at the time when this issue occurred but later on it appeared and I was able to re-activate the account name. Game on!
