"Could not connect to Command and Conquer Online"

Best Answer ToxicShock, 18 August 2016 - 07:16 AM

That error message suggests a connection issue to peer chat (the main and busiest connection that needs to be made), rather than a problem with patching or the other connections that need to be made to get online.

Often that is caused by having a Hamachi driver installed. Check that the IP address shown in Options->Settings->Network is an address on the network you use to connect to the internet (probably 192.168 or 10. something). The address should not begin with 25.* (which suggests a Hamachi address). If there is more than one address, select the other one.

In the meantime, I will check the server log to see if that shows anything. The server is down this morning (we're still looking at that) but when he comes back again, please attempt another log in and then post in here immediately afterwards to help me find the attempt in the log. Apologies :)

Tiberium Wars/ Kanes Wrath Login issue.

Both are seperate discs.

OP SYS/Graphics

Windows 10

Intel i7

Geforce Nvidia GTX

When I try to login to the main server (after using the revora launcher) i put in the correct username and password, and after about 8 seconds it says "could not connect to command and conquer online", with no reason what so ever.

I looked at the common solutions but that message wasn't there.

----- C&C:Online Launcher Start -----
Game: C&C3
C&C3 Install Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\
Started game with: "CNC3.exe "
Caught CREATE_PROCESS_DEBUG_EVENT from C&C3. Detaching...
Found game.dat process. PID 15336

Successfully patched CA public key.
*** Starting hostname hooking routine ***
Injecting DLL into game.dat process...

Thanks in advance :)

Spot on, thanks. Bloody Hamachi hi-jacking my IP lol. This may be needed in the frequent solutions as more and more ppl are being actively poached to there :)
