Alright here is a little back story
Firstly my friend and I have been trying to get this to work for a little while now (off and on work as in giving up and trying again)
and were met with 2 different results the first time we managed to get into the game but not the lobby as we could not find or connect to each other.
The second attempt it won't even launch through the  C&C launcher anymore saying "Unable to launch Kane's wrath" or "Unable to launch C&c3"
They are hooked. The launcher fix is downloaded. this is through origin. And this was done through the collectors box.

First, we will need your launcher logfiles (see how to report issues topic) directly after you get the error message.

Regarding origin:

Did you disable "Origin in game", as per the Common Issues & Solutions thread?

If that doesn't help: What you can do is try disabling Origin Services:

Find the services controls (I think it's under Administrative Tools in Win 8-not 100% sure now; use the search facility if necessary).

Find and select "Origin Client Services" in the list.

Stop the service and then set "Start up type" to disabled.

Close the application and then reboot your computer.

Try launching and report back please.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."
