Did your friend disable User Account Control before attempting to run the fixes and the game itself? http://winaero.com/b...-in-windows-10/ Go to the full post

Hello, so a friend of mine randomly started getting this "ssleay32.dll not found" problem, we tried the fix in the common issues but it didn't help so far.

He owns the ultimate collection, origin version on windows 10.

Starting the games in Origin won't open the CnC:Online launcher; Starting the Online launcher and trying to open a game with it won't open anything but display that error.

He got both, the registry and bibber's fix.

(Offtopic) Also custom maps are not working at all, but that's probably the least I care about at this point since I really want the actual game(s) to finally work.

If this infromation is not enough, tell me what to add.

Thanks in advance, these issues are starting to get frustrating.

Did you disable Origin In-Game and apply Bibber's fixed launchers? http://bibber.eu/dow...tion-launchers/

Yes we did, as I already mentioned in my main post.

The thing is it's not me who has the issues but a friend of mine who lives quite far away, so i cannot work on his pc directly,

and have no clue what the deal is with Origin (since I have the Steam version of each game) and windows 10 (since I use windows 7).

So I cannot check if there is an actual change after installing Bibber's fixed launchers.

Also, it would be nice to have some instructions on how to disable certain things or if there is any things to pay attention to while installing,

because origin has been updated and most functions aren't as easily found as before and when installing we can never be sure if just running the executable is enough.

No, we didn't know about that, thank you!

He will try it right now and I will report back with the results.

It worked!

He could start the game with the online launcher and even login!

And the custom maps work too! But only in Tiberium Wars, not in KW, but I'll look into that myself later.

Also, I have another question, how do you start the default cnc launcher ui with the origin edition?

In Steam you can just set the launch option "-ui" to open it, but in Origin I have no clue.

We just need that to start the game with mods.

In the current build of Origin, you need to right-click on the game's cover, go to Properties, then the Advanced Launch Options. You'll then have a box for parameter input.

As for Kane's Wrath, it doesn't have native mod support (but it does for custom maps). You'll need the WrathEd mod launcher

Thank you! It worked! :D

Perfect, pretty much all issues have finally been fixed (except for the KW maps, I also know it doesn't work with mods).

I should write them down just in case I will ever run across those again.

But for now this is all I needed to know.

I completely forgot about that UAC issue, since I had to turn it off myself too at some point.
