I think you mean the U.S., Russia, China and Pennsylvania.

Trump's presidency may be in trouble right now, since Manafort was convicted guilty of financial fraud and Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to financial fraud as well, including paying hush money to a porn star and a former Playboy model whom they had former affairs with Trump back then. Now the #MeToo movement may be gaining against him.

Isn't his presidency always in trouble?

Yes, but this one really brings in the worst of all. Mueller could be one step closer to possibly indict Trump.

I don't know what's up with Trump's nomination for Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh lately.... he's been accused by three women for sexual misconduct in the 1980s. The Senate hearing today took all day and the senators aren't happy. There's a fair chance Kavanaugh will get rejected and Trump will have to go back to the drawing board. IDK why it took so long for even some women to finally give out a voice that's happened in the past.

Nice, Brett Kavanaugh has been sworn in thing are going good for the U.S.

But I'm not american so I don't really care but it's nice that an innocent man is not ruined completely.

The answer to your last question is, the democrats needed something to ruin this man and stop him from being sworn in, so they got those woman. But who knows the could be telling the truth and Kavanaugh could be guilty. But so for they have not provided enough evidence to prove him guilty, and that leads to my favorite saying "a man is innocent until proven guilty".

I won't know anything about that until Election Day, if Democrats win back Congress. They might impeach both Trump and Kavanaugh.

Meanwhile as of this week (and next week), get ready for an immigration showdown. Although the travel ban from more than several countries are still at play, Trump could be deploying troops south at the border to prevent a mass caravan(s) of illegal immigrants from Central (and possibly South) America from entering the US and they already broke through Mexico which had been negligent to control. I guess Trump still fears of possible Middle-Eastern terrorists from among the immigrants there.

It's not about Middle-Eastern terrorists from there, it's that they would all be ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS without proper documentation. That means for them, improper tax system, improper voting system, improper law enforcement. Three things that are the essentials of a efficient country. And you knowingly (you, as in one) are risking yourself to deportation at any moment, messing yourself up even more.

So the partial government shutdown has been ongoing for 2 weeks and still counting, and not a single fucking budget deal (short term only) is made between Congress, Senate and Trump, all because Trump wants funding for a wall, which nobody wants despite illegal  immigration still an issue. The people who work for Uncle Sam are now being treated as pawns and not getting paid. On the other side of things, some Congresswoman wants Trump to be impeached with an expletive. Trump hasn't even realized how bad the national debt is right now considering the fact that Uncle Sam is low on money. If Trump keeps doing this while Uncle Sam is on a partial shutdown, US could bankrupt.

I hope Mueller speed things up, and if Trump or his children get indicted, I hope he's forced to resign (rather than impeached) and then those people don't have to talk about funding a wall.

The government has been shutdown for 2 weeks?  I haven't even noticed.  Is that a good thing or not?

It's not a good thing if the shutdown can endure for weeks, months or even for a year. Income tax returns will get delayed, and less national security at airports and national monuments (which most of them are closed). People who are working for Uncle Sam under mortgages or renting payments will struggle. Only 9 of 15 govt agencies are affected by this.

The shutdown could go on for years with no ill-effects. It's just a show for those watching.

No dangers to security?  Borrring.

Anyway.  Yes, I do follow Trump on Facebook.  Yes, I do find it endlessly entertaining.  You get jewels like this from time to time:

Yes, Trump actually posted that on his page.  Game of Thrones font and all, next to a very unflattering filtered picture of himself.  Then again, if you're an overweight 80 year old man who sits under sunlamps more than the actual sun, it's difficult to look flattering at all.

Would you qualify government workers not receiving pay as being a negative effect?

Even Trump is going to make his so-called "Apprentice" speech tonight for his primetime presidential address. What a waste of time. BS as usual.

Wall or no wall, people still find ways to cross the border illegally.

After two Trump public announcements to end the govt shutdown with wall funding and little Democratic confidence to take a deal, SNL got this parody instead:

Not at all.

They'll all receive their money when the government reopens, not one dime short. Unlike non-government workers when their companies get shut down.

But if you intend on making the argument that they suffer in the meantime, such as the news around now, talking about them waiting in line for food (absolute nonsense), I'll just ask you this, Why were they all so unprepared?

Also, not every government employee will receive backpay. So there's that.

Where are all the crippling effects? What is the answer that solves the whole issue?

The picture of the people standing outside for "food" and "essentials" is hilarious for so many reasons.
