Steve Bannon, an ex-Goldman Sachs banker and media mogul, who took over a news organization and then called it "the home of the alt-right" (yes those guys doing Nazi salutes and shouting "Hail Trump!") wormed his way onto the national security council.

And it's definitely not fascism to change the rules to get your own way or anything.

My question is: doesn't that make the US a one party state if you only need one party to pass laws?

Bit more fascism as Trump doesn't understand the concept of free press. Not that America has does it well until now, but at least previous they shackled themselves willingly.

If only Arnold was president, then this quote would make sense. This was in response to falling Apprentice TV show ratings.

Guess what The Terminator is saying to Trump lately: "Hey, Donald, I have a great idea. Why don't we switch jobs? You take over TV, because you're such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job. Then people can finally sleep comfortably again."

Couple enabling right wing terrorists with further expanding ownership of guns to those who are clinically mentally ill and whittling away at the separate between church and state. Because if you can't beat religious extremists, join them right?

Steve Bannon's showing his hand.

O'Really ... There's a war on for your mind! Don't be deceived by the 'fog of war' - Steve Bannon is a leninist.

Your point being? Someone who describes themselves as a 'leninist' in their attempt to overthrow an established order can't also be an obvious white supremacist?

What with your vague and spiteful posts, I feel the war for your mind has been lost a while ago.

You know people can call themselves whatever they want, right? Doesn't make it accurate. Just like Trump says he's a nice guy and love's everybody. If Bannon wants to destroy the state, and this is how he's doing it, then he's a sadistic anarchist, not a Leninist.

Your response is to use a "news" source that was run by Steve Bannon? Think about that for a second.

Here is the rule being repealed:

https://www.federalr...nts-act-of-2007

Under these final rules, we will identify, on a prospective basis, individuals who receive Disability Insurance benefits under title II of the Social Security Act (Act) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments under title XVI of the Act and who also meet certain other criteria, including an award of benefits based on a finding that the individual's mental impairment meets or medically equals the requirements of section 12.00 of the Listing of Impairments (Listings) and receipt of benefits through a representative payee.

So yes, they are expanding gun ownership to those with mental disabilities.

@Elvenlord:

Please note, that the rule was implemented in the last dayes of the Obama Admininistration (Dates: This final rule will be effective on January 18, 2017. However, compliance is not required until December 19, 2017. [your reference]). Hence, it has NOT come into effect YET.

Thus, the H. J. 40 (which has now been approved i House of Representatives) will - when approved in the Senate - just revert the federal legislation back to normal. As it is just a REPEAL of some very recent legislation, it cannot ADD some new legislation. This means that:

1) NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check System) will still be functioning as before. Background checks is still required for all, who wants purchase a firearm.

2) SSA (Social Security Administration) will NOT be a second, additional agency for control on puchase of firearms. This would be discriminatory to all disabled persons, regardless of what disability they might have.

Which in essence was what the article on Breitbart News said - and contrary to the claims concerning background checks in The Independent and Politico.

Some arguments for the repeal can be found here: https://waysandmeans...e.gov/hj-res40/

Apparently the POTUS doesn't know enough of the history of his nation to know that Frederick Douglass is not, in fact, among the living.

I guess Trump vs the courts on immigration ban order may be going soon to the Supreme Court.

Anyways just to ease the troubles, here are some of the funniest SNL moments of Trump (pretty soon it's gonna be Trump vs Alec Baldwin):

Can we not post a fuck load of videos? Just link them. It's awful to scroll through and adds unnecessary load time.

Which in essence was what the article on Breitbart News said - and contrary to the claims concerning background checks in The Independent and Politico.

If you'd read the Independent article then no, its not contrary. That's what written there, and that's whats concerning. Regressing on gun control is not in a country where tens of thousands are killed every year unnecessarily by objects designed solely for the purpose of killing, is not a good thing IMO.

Jonathan Pie on the real fascists ...

Not "the real fascists". It's not one or the other. That fallacy is part of the problem... not everyone against Trump's governance are in the same group just like not like all Trump supporters are racist even if his policies are, and it's not like the establishment Democrats were a real left opposition either. It was two right wingers against each other - neither of the conservative type. For all the pretence of being conservatives, Republicans love interfering in individual's lives.

That's what Trump thinks he is, and I'm sure a percentage of those 'forgotten millions' (who aren't actually forgotten and are being actively championed by the Left) continue to believe it, at least until they start to get hurt by Trump's anti-proletariat agenda, but that doesn't make it true. His policies don't benefit either the working class or the middle class. An inexperienced billionaire heading the Department of Education, a climate change denialist heading the EPA, beginning to dismantle the ACA without his promised replacement plan finished, inevitably racking up the prices of basic goods with his short-sighted 'America First' 'plan', these aren't going to ease any sense of disenfranchisement. His forgotten millions may think for a while longer that they've dealt a grievous blow to the establishment that they think abandoned them, but they'll learn soon enough that they elected something much worse.

And Trump wasn't elected because he embodied a champion for the people. He was elected due to some very specific reasons: he's an old-fashioned salesman that knows how to sell bullshit and get his brand out there, the GOP failed to put forward a better option, and, most importantly, the DNC failed to recognize that they needed a Bernie Sanders rather than a Hillary Clinton - a charismatic populist without endlessly documented ties to Washington elites - in order to tap into those masses that feel disenfranchised. It had absolutely nothing to do with Trump being remotely fit for office or a man of the people. To think he is, is nothing short of lunacy.

I hate Trump, because it's not fair America gets a good leader for the people and the rest of the world are stuck with slimy virtue signaling globalists Turdhairdeau.

Anti prole?  What are H1b visas Obama?  Tens of thousands of jobs coming back, negotiated even before Trump took office.  Obama didn't even try.

Getting out of the regime change business will save lots, too bad Obama and Bush didn't realize that before going through trillions.  If the economy collapses within the year due to this and Obama's bank bailouts, don't blame Trump.

Refugee crisis is defused now that Trump has gotten Saudis to agree to housing them.  Two phone calls.  Think of the millions saved for America and Europe now that the inbred numbskulls of the middle east will be staying there!  Obama didn't even try.

Climate change?  Climate change laws and taxes directly attack the proles you seem to want to defend.  Trump getting out of Paris will invigorate the economy, while the rest of the world staggers under globalist climate bs.  Have you heard of Climategate?  How about the fact carbon dioxide is not a pollutant but plant food and at the moment increased amounts are greening deserts?  Obama didn't even try to learn the science, just signed onto globalism.

Trump is cleaning up Bush and Obama's mess despite the corrupt media complex fake news platitudes of pessimism, that are not in keeping with what he is accomplishing so quickly.  There is a reason the establishment is against him you know.  Fortunately Trump is going to Make America Great Again despite their protestations, and the people will grow to love Trump and hate the dirty lying media.
