Forget about Half-Life 3, it appears Valve can count to 3 to this zombie game instead.

News broke out today:

2017 release? I am afraid in Valve Time, it's more later than that. Valve hasn't made the announcement for a release date, just only they are developing it for quite some time. By 2017 it'll be a decade since HL2 EP2 and Team Fortress 2 were released. There had been some suggestions that even virtual reality mode might be in L4D3.

Ever since then, the gameplay in some Call of Duty games with zombies are more interesting than Left 4 Dead since they are not in arcade mode. Maybe it's time for gamers to see something new coming out of Valve.

I wouldn't bet on Half-Life 3 until Call of Duty 20.

Now that they're done with this VR and Steam Machine junk, they'll probably start making games again.  I mean... what's the last full-scale game they did?  Portal 2?  Phhh... I sort of lost interest in Valve.  If they're going to get me interested in another Left 4 Dead game, they better go full hog with this one.  As in, an actual progression system, fun weapons, and tons of new special undead that change the way the game is played on both sides.

Treyarch's Zombies is way better than Left 4 Dead. This isn't even what players want...
