1. Repair Drone

The Soviet universal repair unit that is amphibious and globally deployable with the benefit of not being made by a different unit and an engineer for easier manipulation in your armoured battalion. Because it's only purpose is to keep your units healthy, that makes it much easier to operate in bigger groups. Nothing sucks more than have repair IFVs in your group with other IFV modes. Especially, when you wait for additional IFVs for decent anti-air counter and having to micro this mess around. Repairing units as Foehn will be next level of annoying. :xx: INB4 Miner rush!

 

2. Catastrophe

This handsome monster tank can deal with almost everything, no mather if it's a unit, infantry, or a structure (yeah, except Charon or a squadron of jets). The ramjet shell packs a mighty punch against weaker units and structures as well. then you have the rocket launcher for air enemies that deals well with Irkalla and Kirovs as well. Kind of wonky against Rocketeers, especially when they are straight above the Catastrophe. And the cherry on top of this awesome unit is the firing port for units. Of course you won't be putting Constripts in there, as they are weak compared to other basic anti infantries, but Pyro, Desolator and Tesla Trooper are great for their role in Catastrophe.

 

3. Mortar Quad

Another Soviet unit??? Well, yeah. From my experience, Soviet units hold their best against AI attacks (and I cannot bother to be bothered to be mentally abused with the IFV-repair-micro mess :thumbsdownsmiley: ).

 

Mortar Quad... is really interesting infantry for Latin confederation with awesome-though-delayed anti armour shells that can even outrange NuWa cannons! They are immune to crushing by common units and dog attacks with great speed for an infantry. But their size is really awkward when you want to put them in transports, as they take up as much space as Terror Drone and also their minimal range makes them really awful to use when released from a transport.

My most favorite is Libra + clones, it's not even a competition.

An elite Libra + 6 to 9 elite clones, all upgraded with armor, speed and firepower crates. It takes some time to make, but after that, only Nu-wa cannons and Thor gunships pose a threat, but both are slow and can be awoided easily. With some skillful micro, these lads can level the base of a mental AI easily. I also like how she's the archetype of the psycho anime girl.

 

And IIRC she's gone get buffed in 3.3  :thumbsuphappy:

 

...I also "tweaked" her darts once to have the same warheads as the soviet nuclear missiles, and have 4 times the normal range... And twice the normal rate of fire. It was fun.

 

Second favourite would be the Cyborg, the Soviet-Soviet stolen tech. They are especially fun in Meat grinder game mode, winning against 7 mental AI's is easy if you have them, they are even better than the Virus snipers for that.

 

I can't name a third most favorite, simply because the competition is too even. mental Omega is truly a wonderfull mod.

One does not simply speak about why the Voyager once was a ferocious beast, conqueror of the seas and even on land. 

 

Basically I abused the crap out of them and now they got nerfed rip in pepperoni I retire

Voyagers were capable of going toe to toe with MBT's from all factions, beating them all apart from the Quillin. At the cost of having a Naval Yard which slows down things. It was a nice unit for me personally as it gave me some variation and added some fun into the game.

1. Crazy Ivan. Received a major upgrade in MO. Running around the map, blowing up bases with napalm and they can swim. Since I love to rush people with the Confederation, there will always be crazy ivans on the map.
2. Borillo. One of the strongest T2 units. Fast, heavily armoured and perfect for rushing with infantry into an enemy's base.
3. Desolator. Also received a buff in MO from vanilla. It has become an all-around great anti-ground unit. Oneshotting T1 infantry, twoshotting others and a perfect fit for a Catastrophe.
