Sorry Valve, but Moddb mod of the year awards are far better than Steam's version. I didn't like the categories though. But I can give one category that wasn't listed, "the most incomplete game that came out to be a complete fun game after several years"... I nominated Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

I hate the categories.  The "we didn't think of everything" category?  "Whhhoooahhh dude?"  "I'm not crying, there's something in my eye?"  What on God's green earth are these people on... these make literally no sense.

What a coincidence... all of the results nearly match the exact top sale charts on Steam.  Also, I don't take anything remotely seriously when it notes "Euro Truck Simulator 2" as an award winning game... TWICE...
