RA3 cannot connect with another player

I can log into c&c online without any trouble but when I try to actually start a game with another player (my other computer trying to play RA3 with my wife)

I have an idea that the issue is that I am using the c&c ultimate collection and the other computer is using just RA3 though I did install it through origin. I have installed the new launchers on my computer. I have disabled origin in game and disabled origin keeping things up to date.

Not sure what to try next.

Hi! That's probably because you and your wife's computer have the same external IP address (the two computers may be using the same router), so C&C:Online server cannot distinguish these two computers. Try to use an VPN or another network so you and your wife's computer will have different external IP address.

Additionally, yes, the games from The Ultimate Collection may have connection issues, but you can fix that by installing The fixed launchers.
