Hey,

i play the normal version C&C RA3 on Steam.

My friend and me wanted to start a game together, but we always get this issue:

(free translated from german) "we detected connection issues, solve them or kick the player with the issues.

connection failed: 1-2 "

We tried it a few times now in the last hour, but didnt work.. :-(

I use Windows 7.

It looks like you will have either port forward or set your computer as the DMZ. You can read a bit more about that in Common Issues & Solutions but you will nevertheless need to google your modem to find out how to set up either of those. If you are the only person playing from your household, setting your computer as the DMZ is probably the best way to go.
