Is this supposed to be the anti-epsilon naval units?

Most Epsilon amphibious units like Marauder and Magnetron can be eaten by Rocketeer (And Dolphin in the future).

But Soviet probably don't have much tools to fight these guys. So that's understandable.

But Battleship? Im sorry but is Allied anti-surface navy that awful? I thought Carrier is the hardest to counter among the long range ships.

Dolphin is not vs ship unit. Its scout/detector/shore assault.

Carrier have zero splash. Battleshit have this, but it range is way lower than originaly was - balance at it finest.

Maybe the Battleship was implemented because the Allies lack a ranged ship capable of dealing splash damage.

But with that logic the other sides should have gotten a ranged ship capable of honed in accuracy similar to the Aircraft Carriers doing.

Regardless, they just get special treatment for some reason.

The naval mine doesn't seem to be that useful to me, because ships can scan their location and shoot them from afar, right?

It's probably best used against Dolphins or Seals when deployed on top of them.

and by that logic every team would get the same stuff point for point

Well, there's nothing stopping you dropping the Naval Mine right on that clump of ships the enemy's being busy building.  Or dropping them on a common transit route they thought was clear.  There's all sorts of things you can do with them if you turn your thinking around.

(I'm assuming they get dropped by plane or something and can thus be placed anywhere).

As for the Battleship, it has one advantage the Aircraft Carrier doesn't - it can't get shut down by anti-air.

There is a lot more room for expansion in naval combat but I'm positive it will all be rectified as the updates keep coming.

Actually Yngwie of Haus Malmsteen, feefty eenches of pure Svwedish beef.
