I got a problem.

 

When I try to launch a mission with the 3.3 version, the game goes back to the main menu. Skirmishes maps won't launch either.

I tried it again for trying to see what didn't work. Now I also get messages about abscence of xyr.dll

This line suggests this is not gamemd.exe from Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge patched to 1.001. Where does it come from?

EDIT: xyr.dll suggests to me that you're using the XWIS version of RA2. It won't work with Mental Omega 3.3. You need to use one from CD, The Ultimate Collection or The First Decade.

I used the multiplayer base for the game released here: http://forums.cncnz....-vs-windows-10/ after the 'wonderful' Windows 10 decided it wouldn't install my RA2 CDs.

 

Still, there was no problems running the precedent version with this version.

 

Edit: Well, good thing I bought TUC for installing Rise of the Reds I guess. Any special thing to do with games on Origin?

ah, it doesn't work with the MP version, that explains things. On the website previously it said it would work with mental omega (the old edition) but I guess this one doesn't. Stupid windows 10.

I probably missed something, but when I try to play Skirmish, the game crashes with Fatal Error.

 

Campaign works great (and been much easier so far!).

Yeah, I don't know what version that was, but it wasn't pure. Reinstalled my Origin version, there it works, though seems to have problems locating which of my monitors to use.

I'm sure it's not because of my game, as I installed it from a cloned CD image burn.

It just start the game and, lol failed to initialized. But vanilla game worked no problem.

Edit: Looks like the problem was due to stupid admin rights thing. It's working now.
