I know this is not the place to ask this but I couldn't figure it out elsewhere, but in the instructions it said that I should not download CnCnet and MO in the same folder, but how can I remove CnCnet from my RA2 folder, I've tried to remove everything that had CnCnet in it , but the mod still doesn't work.

It's easier to make a new directory, extract Mental Omega 3.3 there and just copy the required 7 files from Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge 1.001 into that folder: http://mentalomega.com/install

I did have all the files in the wrong place. A smart move of me indeed. Anyway, i found the correct place and everything is working alright now. I tried the first allied mission, noticed all the changed and i am very happy now.
Ah well, off to play everything now.

ZAWADIAKA I re-installed Windows 10 with new version: Windows 10 Home (not "N").
And I have new errors:
When I don't set compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3) for gamemd.exe and/or syringe.exe, Mental Omega has an error:
When I set compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3) for gamemd.exe and syringe.exe or only syringe.exe, Mental Omega has an error:
When I set compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3) for only gamemd.exe, Mental Omega don't run.
Similar to: Run as admintrator.

The game seems to crash when I try to play the campaigns. I can see the loading screen okay, but just after it loads, it crashes. The weird part is, that skirmish and multiplayer works fine for me. It always shows that yuri's revenge had a fatal error.

If you need to set compatibility settings on gamemd.exe, always launch the client as admin. This should fix this problem. When I don't set compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3) for gamemd.exe and/or syringe.exe, Mental Omega has an error:[...]

So, I'm having this problem where I click on the "Launch Game" and instead of starting Mental Omega, it runs the Yuri's Revenge file and directs me into the main menu of Yuri's Revenge.
The strange part is that I've played the 3.3 mod 2days ago, and now I just wanted to try again and this happened, any thoughts?

It seems like rebooting fixed it, any idea what could had happened and can I expect this to happen again?

Windows 7 64bits, no antivirus, I do whoever have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Spybot Search and Destroy and Ccleaner, all of them are free editions, so none of them are working real-time.

It's not an error, but it seems that while playing campaign and connected to internet (without logging in mind you), CnCNet client will open a window for brief moment (noticeable in taskbar) and makes the game minimize for some reason

every time I run, screen goes black, audio still works. Windows SP2/3, 16-bit color, disable high dpi, run as admin compatibility for Syringe/gamemd/yuri/mentalomegaclient.exe made no difference. i have rebooted also.
EDIT: before, had all files from ra2 in folder in mo directory; instead, deleted that mo directory being used, made new one, reinstalled files there, and got the only 7 files i needed from ra2/yr. now, game runs, but pausing game won't show menu and just shows last image from in-game; also, game is extremely laggy/choppy (unplayable). OS is windows 10 game version is from Origin, anti virus I have malwarebytes but it's off, and also I have norton, but it hasn't impacted yr before. "Back Buffer in Video Memory" option in client doesn't have any effect either.
edit - i notice that the install instructions say "copy the following files from Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge to it, and then extract Mental Omega 3.3 files there"; I actually first made the mo directory, then placed the required files from ra2 in it. Guessing the instructions' way is how it's supposed to be, even though seems minor (not sure if instructions literally mean to do this) - anyways, kinda desperate now. Trying this. edit again... nope, no difference made.
last edit... resolved myself... completely overlooked using different renderers. IE-DDRAW works vs the default (once again, edit - actually TS-DDRAW fully removes issue, IE has some choppiness too). sorry

I'm hoping I can get some clarification.
Is the only way to play MO 3.3 on Windows 10 to use the Origin version?
XWIS doesn't work, cracked versions don't work, and my original discs can't install on Windows 10.
If that is the only way to go, I do understand. I was just really hoping to avoid it it since I've already got 4 legitimate copies of RA2 and YR across my original discs and collection discs.
But if there is any way to get it working otherwise (I'd especially prefer using my discs) I'd really appreciate getting pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!
