Remember Black Centurion from MO 2.0? I just got a thought in my mind that theoretically Foehn can rebuild Centurion as a far more powerful Black Centurion for campaign only.

I just started A08: Wrong Side and right at the start there is a conscript on the bridge. My SEALs outright refuse to attack it. When I give an attack order they swim for the closest shore which is protected by two tesla coils.

I looked in the playthrough on youtube and there the SEALs do attack the conscript, but mine are simply not doing that.

I think SEALs have been balanced since then and are incapable of attacking that conscript, you just have to swim past him and bait the subs out of his range.. usually best to destroy them after clearing the beach as a result.

How about we take away the conscript and two subs, only one leaving one. Maybe on easy........

I'm playing on easy and I'm pretty sure it's very doable with 3 subs and no infantry, a small bit of micro management is enough. Having to rush through the bridge is a different matter.

Hah, Centurion just with Foehn tech? Sounds like something to base a few missions around as a story arc.

Hmmm... Like, a mini Plasmerizer as a main gun, golden rockets for AA, and some nanites for self repair. Also, built-in secondary weapons in place of fireports, because Foehn infntry are too bulky.

That would be terrifying if you could fit in a Syncronin inside.

Actually...I wonder if that's a viable strategy with normal centurion...

Actually in Unholy Alliance mode we put inside something much more terrifying, Volkov, Tanya, Rahn

Attack Dog Centurion is the second best. The real best is if you use the Psychic Dominator on cows and load them up.

speaking of stolen techs, i just noticed; why is the description of the future tank alpha's profile in the mod website incomplete? this is something that has been bugging me from 3.3.1 up till now.

I think the profile only lacks a period in the last sentence. Or maybe its future hasn't been written yet

Just finished A21: Relentless. The start is insane, the bit after you get your MCV is regular very hard, and when you've built 30 Thors, 15 Aircraft Carriers, 20 Prism tanks and a whole lot of other goodies, while building even more stuff, it's a lot of fun :)

Took me 80 minutes on easy, with 50 minutes as par time. I think I'll need double the par time for Insomnia then. XD

I had that problem before I found an easy fix for it, even on mental, the thing is, you don't need as much unit spam as you're thinking, even 5 prisms or 8 mirages are MORE than enough damage, while you start cleaning up that army, in the background, more units are being built to increase the numbers of this army furthur, so it keeps getting stronger while also maintaing the time.

It's how you can beat any mission on mental with below par time results.

Allied Mission 22 on mental took me so long. I don't know if it is a bug, I couldn't kill the hangers spawning air units. But only after I slowly killed structures during time freeze, somehow after killing a certain amount around the hangers did the hangers get destroyed. No idea how to destroy it. I tried targetting with tanks, infantry aircraft, all didn't work.

So I ended up only attacking during time freeze. And due to the low income map I couldn't mass so it took an awfully long time, atleast 1 hour.

The mission gives a somewhat vague hint: sensors.....in essence, destroy the Mind Readers and Physic Radars. I believe the western one only has one radar for that nest (the hanger you were talking about)

Hope this helps on future playthroughs.

That mission should have atleast told about the trails on the ground. It shouldn't show every dependable structure immediatly but the trails should be more than enough. Many people had trouble understanding the dybukk hives on their first try due to the cryptic way to destroy them. Speaking of insomnia, does anyone else notice the random non epsilon dragonfly buzzing around the edges of the map? What's the deal with that, is Yunru spying on the engine's progress?
