Hint for Innosia Radar Sprite and Mind Reader Location

West's nest - near by only one radar spire.
Middle's nest - near radar spire and mind reader, actually there are more but your allies will destroy most of them.

These two can easily destroy on second event time freeze, send any Thor, Rocketeer, Norio, Chrono Legieonaire, Tanya/Seal with Stallion or even Paradox Engine to destroy them before freeze time running out, this make you can more chance to focus on defend.

South's nest - this is the main one there are two nest here need destroy all radar spire and mind reader to disable both of them.

- 2 Mind readers and 1 Radar Spire - These are near the nest and psychic dominator, you may never miss these.
- East 1 Mind reader and 2 Radar Spires - follow concrete part, mind reader is near cloning vats facility, Radar spire are E and SE of Mind Reader.
- West 2 Radar Spires - follow concrete part, one is in dark purple base on the west and another one on the north of dark purple base, don't follow concrete part on SW that is way to Aerodomes and it don't do anything with hive

I've just done Insomnia and the first two Hives were gone almost immediately. My allies took care of one and I killed the other's controlling structure (Can't even remember how, maybe it was the Chrono Legion in a time freeze). The main hive though...

I knew what I had to look for, but I just couldn't find the 2 closest mind readers. Completely skipped over them when I brought the prism tanks in to kill the dominators. Then I spent a lot of time trying to work out what to do, while holding and using all my money to keep the number of Thor's up, which I could only use for defence. Any attack and they'd die way too quickly.

Then I finally found them, and teleported Tanya in with a Stryker. Killed the mind readers and 5 minutes later everything else was gone :)

Nice mission. Only took me 1 hour and 13 minutes on easy XD

Norio and some Barracuda squadrons can snipe those during Paradox's time stop

Yes, I meant those. The Time Freeze is so helpful in taking down parts of the Epsilon bases, but it's quite intense to give the right units the right orders when you activate the time freeze. You've got 90 seconds, which is good for one attack for barracudas and Norio. I also went with using the Chrono Legionnaires but forgot about them at some point and they died instantly when the time freeze was over.

Yeah I agree with you.

It requires a lot of both micro or "coordinating". One of the stuff I did was activating the time freeze then chronoshift Tanya into the dominator. :)

Just beat hypothermia coop by myself on hard difficulty and I don't think I would have as easily if the attack waves didn't die down to only paradrops and occasional small battalions. Why does the enemy attack die down after a period of time? They were constantly bombarding me with tanks and drops as I got control of the base.

Eventually as I defended it became only paradrops and few units attacking. Because of this the later part felt easier than some single player missions.

The more I listen to THE BROTHERHOOD from Mindshell album and see this animation where the planet turns green it makes me think that Kane is definitely somewhere in MO. Since MO happens after RA1, I really wonder where is Kane during all of these events. Speeder noted that Yuri coming from Tiberium timeline will be hinted later in Act 2 as well. Can't wait until the end of Act 2, Foehn campaign and reveal of this Reptoir thing.

If there's one thing that MO does better than C&C games, its the mystery of what's going to happen next. The game continuously drops plot threads to keep the player's attention, so even when the previous questions were answered, there's still more to the story.

I think Speeder abandoned the plot point idea of Yuri coming from the Tiberium timeline, at least I remember him saying that somewhere. Either way, The Brotherhood is just the name of the track made by World Beyond, I doubt it has special significance about alluding to the plot of future events.

For the madness challange, what is the purpose of the Iron Curtain ?

It says its activated from time to time, but so far, i played the challenge five times (US,EA,PRC,PC,USSR) and i have yet to see its effects in the gameplay. Is it supposed to shield the madman ? Arent they immune to that effect ?

Could be for that so the player/s wouldn't snipe it out immediately after it arrives. Never noticed it tbh

Currently playing the Touhou Series

You can use mission units in MO here

TI devs however said that in TI Yuri came to Stalin's times and this is how MO timeline appeared.

What the TI Devs say has no bearing on what Mental Omega does unless speeder outright confirms it; Twisted Insurrection is Twisted Insurrection and Mental Omega is Mental Omega, the two mods are not connected by anything other than pure coincidence.

Either way, that's a plotpoint by Westood and not specifically Twisted Insurrection. It was to be explored in the canceled C&C3, but was adapted to Twisted Insurrection.

T3Lfixb.png

To my knowledge, Speeder has made no confirmation that this is true to Mental Omega's timeline. I'd even be more inclined to believe he comes from the doomed 2.0 timeline, and that's why he was able to create his technology so fast.

From the Tiberium Incursion page on the wikia.

Also, having looked into it, I believe I found what people are confusing for confirmation, specifically from this thread:

OjqrGoz.png

Speeder says that how Mental Omega ties into the timeline will be hinted at in Act Two. People misconstrued it as it being tied into the Tiberium Timeline because the thread speculated that it would tie into it for... some reason. Ultimately, Speeder was extremely vague here. He never came out and said it ties into the Tiberium timeline, especially not Twisted Insurrection. Twisted Insurrection being related to Mental Omega is a common theory that somehow became hyper prevalent simply because of a lot of coincidences. There is nothing concrete that really links the two together, and anything beyond that is hearsay and speculation.

(That thread also mistakingly believes that Tib War 1 is a result of a Soviet victory in RA1. This is incorrect- Dawn is a result of the Allies winning the war in RA1. Red Alert 2 is just an alternative series of events. But this is ultimately irrelevent)
