I also think that proto-Foehn should have some special stolen tech and other in their Origin campaign, which would work as a sort of precursor tech for them. Like how they got to build early Future Tanks in Tainted Empire, or maybe getting the Infector Tank too later. Maybe with Rashidi's help, they could get the Syckle. The Iron Dragon is obvious. Maybe the Grumble could be a potential connection to the Golden Rocket tech, for example. And later in Act 3, there could be a mission all about finding the last intact Allied Tech Center to find the mirage tech and develop the Phantasm.

 

And maybe in Act 3, since the Epsilon (or Reptoir) controlling most of the world, they could have access to "hybrid" tech, as in, other stolen tech units, like all the Epsilon ones (with modified Salamanders that don't use Foehn tech, and such). And of course, just like with the Cyborg Prototypes, the campaign could use other cut units as well.

 

Campaign is all about interesting scenarios and battles that would be unlikely in MP or Skirmish, so a "regular balance" doesn't really make sense, so the MM can go wild with the different sort of units and whatnot.

 

(Also, I'd still love to see a tower defense mission, with all sorts of custom towers.)

I kinda understand now Rashidi's speech at the beginning of Obsidian Sands. In Blood Rage, you can see Malver observing the situation in Kashmir. He was probably sent there to supervise Yun Ru, but he stumbled across an enraged, psycho girl, who was killing friend and foe alike. That girl was Yuri's supposed "ace in the hole". When Rashidi found out about it, he must've thought Yuri was getting desperate, supposedly entrusting the fate of his army on an uncontrollable and psychotic girl, who won't obey anyone but Yuri. That, and the Paradox problem, made Rashidi question if Yuri's side was the way to go

True, but it was Rashidi who gave Yunru the MIDAS warhead in Focus Shift, so the treachery happened way before the aforementioned events.

Nothing indicates that Cell gave chinese last warhead instantly after Focus Shift. They could had it hidden all the time and then strike the deal with Yunru before Kashmir arc.

Then Yunru be like, "Oh. I know now. " 

Then planted evidence in her head to put blame on Rashidi, in case Yuri's forces ever got to her.

 

The reason why Malver is so invincible in Obsidian Sands (as opposed to Singularity) is because Malver was the one carrying the warhead over thousands of miles. His psychic and muscular powers have risen with the exercise.

Why on campaign loading screens we can't have three cameos on units we're supposed to use actively in the mission like it was in RA2/YR? Even some MO fan missions had that stuff on their loading screens.

Because the color palette is limited for the loading screens and in MO cameos use an unlimited palette. Adding any cameos to those screens would make them look really bad after conversion.

what if yunru decided to learn brain mapping and turn herself into an a.i, so the epsilon will never have the chance to control her? That way, the revolt will never be without a leader. But at one point something will go wrong and she will become corrupted, becoming Reptoir or something
