Seriously, at the end of Act 2, I'm sure that the Mental Omega Device or whatever the secret weapon of Yuri is will gonna break because some idiot put a barrel next to it.

 

Also, the Death's Hand is actually a giant missile full of exploding barrels. When it launches, it will be like the Nod ending in TS, except instead of Tiberium, the rocket will release endless amounts of barrels on the world. :V

Actually Alstar has fetish with Salamander as far as I'm informed :p

Also, Juggernaut doesn't count because the Chinese are just cinematic cameo with base full of barrels. We know where it's going when you see barrels in an ally AI's base. Just pretend they're dead already.

In that case, just have a conscript against endless Apocs and Archelons then. No Salamanders then. I wanna see if Alstar will rage from that. *evil laughter*

 

Also, I do count it because at that point you might as well simply not include them if they're going to be dead in 10 seconds flat. If you're going to give players dead weight AI to increase difficulty, then don't even bother putting it in. :glare:  One of the first things I hope to change when the map & AI editor comes out.

Since the mission where you have to defend the launch pad is set in an island in the pacific rather close to Australia, could there be a mission set in Australia that connects with that mission?

Well, there was a Yuri's Revenge mission set in Australia. I guess it's possible it could have been used as a basis for a MO mission.

challenge Idea :

 

name : NATURE'S WRATH

concept : a huge map that is divided to different atmospheres and climates (I don't know if that is possible in the game's engine)

 

have a giant forest with a lot of tanks that has the mirage tank trait so you can have borillos, tesla tanks and anything trolly that needs close range to be effective then have it blend in with the forest and some thors moving around too,  and at the end of it would be a Euro alliance base (set in winter area)

 

you can also have alanqa skystations roaming around a desolate area using their hurricane ability ALL the time. or maybe have unkillable hurricanes that move around without the need for alanqas, just like an avoidable obstacle always annoying the players and stopping their reinforcements all the while there are also duplicants roaming around and they keep respawning too, then there would be a field under a meteor shower, but the meteors are pinpointed like a quetzal's drone (or maybe have a shadow ?) before they fall so they can be avoided, at the end would be a Coronian base (set in moon area)

 

the third area would be a desert with a lot of heat in it, things burning around as you walk, even your own men's blood boil as they move through the desert, then you find an oasis with some trees and grass, while you rush towards it with disbelief the heat strikes you before you try to reach it one more time and the fury drones ignite your men, but for whoever survived it's even worse... for it will rain fire and oil will boil from underneath them exploding and burning them alive to ashes, and the locals aren't hospital either, they disguise themselves as your troops and sneak in between them to put them on fire 1 by 1 while they won't feel it untill it is too late to react and setting everyone else around them aswell.

 

last but not least is the polluted gas humans produced coming back at them, turning them into monsters or destroying their bodies entirely covering an entire field making it hard to breathe, and the bloaticks are endlessly marching towards them, while spooks and brutes that feed (heal) of the polluted gas protect them, then there are clouds raining destruction beneath them ( A LOT of basilisks) at the end there would be an HQ base (set in an area that would look like intoxicated) 

 

And Nature doesn't just fend off the oppressors, it will also attack them with :

1- lighting strike : it would be like an Ion cannon from Tiberium sun but with lightning 

2- wind vaccum : it will affect all tanks and air units in an area (like a zorbfloater) and pull them towards each other, the more it grabs the more it deals damage untill it fades or crushes all the units it grabbed

3- rain of destruction : a rain of basilisk shots (what are those things ? I actually just realized I don't know) 

4- genetic mutator : the old genetic mutator from vanilla YR

We need a TI reference about Yuri's origins in Epsilon campaign. Something like a TI Nod vehicle (Eclipse tank?) getting destroyed in the very beginning of Epsilon HQ defence mission (I'm sure there will be some).

Cyber Commando also still says "For the Brotherhood" in MO, which might come in handy as well.

And then Kane proceeded to disappear off the face of the Earth for RA2.  Although I am curious to know where he went...

 

I'm generally just treating the presence of Stealth/Shadow Tanks and Termite/Driller APCs as proof that Yuri brought some of the technology (if not the actual units) over from TI.  An Eclipse would be cool and all, but TI only shows Yuri running into the old Chronosphere by himself, and unless the thing was consistently malfunctioning in the same way and he knew where/when he'd end up (as opposed to just being a spur-of-the-moment "Oh Sh**, GDI's closing in, I need a way to escape!"), I don't think he sent other units through before him.

According to Mental Omega lore, the Soviet Union lost this RA1 war. The USSR was divided into independent countries with Romanov as the puppet leader of Russia (while former Soviet republics were slowly returned under Russian influence sometime before the invasion into USA/Europe).

 

Still, even if RA1 Allied campaign is canon here, Kane was not found, he was not present in the Allied victory FMV. He could have escaped and still be alive.

I always wondered who is the person that writes our mission briefings in the soviet missions, he seems smarter than the other ones and he is also the one that starts suspecting Yuri being a traitor and the one who proposes to shut PsiCorps down

 

he also warns us in Idle Gossip about a conspiracy theory against the soviet commander and that he'll have to flee at one point, because he accomplished so many triumphant victories over the course of the invasion

Maybe an alternative version of Zofia? She was quite smart in vanilla RA2 and also warned the Soviet commander about Yuri's weird behavior and betrayal.

In Dragonstorm Chinese general uses cut voice files of Fai from Zero Hour. Why when the player launches a nuke at his base he doesn't yell "Nuclear missle approaching! Flee! Get me out of here!"? Would have been funny to hear this in MO.

I need help with the ghost hunt.
I built a base, destroyed the sp cell forces and the ampflifier but the game does not end. Do I miss smth.

Btw. I destroyed the sp cell forces and then the ampflifier. Maybe a glitch ?
