Could the Allies be given alternate source of credit generation aside from collecting ores/gems and controlling derricks? Foehn have Reprocessors, Soviets have Gear Change support power, Epsilon can just MC units and send some of them to Grinder for cash.

They do have the ore purifier which makes ore MOre expensive/get MOre credits. It also gives $20 every so often

yeah but keep in mind that you still have to send out miners to find ore which can be dangerous in the late game

just a random thought but i wonder if it will possible to have a USA generals style drop zone to add more funds

Allied factions have the warp miner ability which almost guarantees a successful harvest. It is just disturbing to think that allied commanders turtle up with frequent cash drops and no miners.

You're suggesting sending mind-controlled units to grinder? Well, if you're playing PvE, train spies.

Huh cool. I kinda wish they were more widespread, in campaign too. Somehow I can imagine those scraps being more fitting to city levels as resources rather than the weird ore mines and gem fields in the middle of a modern city.

Edit: Ah yes, that "Tiberium" is the one from the old 3.0 screens. Seem to give the same amount as the regular ore, but also seems to be spreading faster. But maybe I'm wrong.

If you spot that type of harvestable debris on a current map, tell me the map and take a pic. That shouldn't be there.

Yeah, here's the (8) Snow Snow Snow patch and I think a gold patch above it has a bit of it in it as well. The big patch is near the player 7 starting position and isn't anywhere else.

I tested it, a full Soviet Miner gave 1000 credits for the debris. Gold patches also gave 1000 credits, and gems gave the usual 2000. The "squares" below the miner that show how full it is was also the normal gold, not grey or blue or anything special. And yeah, it spreads like crazy when left unchecked.

I meant the other type of special ore, that looks like yellow crystals, that appeared on some old 3.0 screens. Appears on that Fortress map, Sky Mountain.

Edit: https://imgur.com/t5Bgaha

Though I personally like it visually. Will be sad to see it go.

that's not a special ore type, that's the ore bugging out sometimes, you can even see it doing that in some maps like Malibu cliffs :v

No, it doesn't 'fit there'. I used it to see better where's the old ore that should be replaced. This type of ore doesn't grow.

i dont like that the boidblitz is affected by elevation. its an important support power unit for last bastion. and it can never hit its target when on lower elevation. is it intentional, or is it by programming, by the machine being a unit?

am i the only one who have some difficulty with mixing the mantis and opus tank up sometimes? they look kinda similar to me.

It's programming limitation. Since the boidmachine works like an arcing weapon, it's affected by elevation just like every arcing weapon does

(haven't tested Zephyrobot honestly, though)

Then is it possible to make Boidblitz projectile to be like Scud Launcher's, but indestructible..? (or cannot be targeted)

Or is it intended to be that way? To compensate its high damage (not really), it has inaccuracy?

Actually, I did a skirmish with PF and I can confirm elevation is not affecting the accuracy of Zephyrbot support power.

Map is Bay of Pigs, I have 24 Zephyrs on the elevated area with 4 oil derricks and 1 garrison-able building on the northern one, and 12 at my base on position 6.

I put Zephyrbot at the same elevation as my base on enemy base, and proceed to use all Zephyrs I have. All hits the mark, but if there's any inaccuracy, it's only 1 or 2 tiles away from the Zephyrbot (which still inside the radius visually given to you when selecting the support power).
