He was a dev, but I think he either left or got kicked out.

The ones I know other than Speeder are Mevitar, Lovalmidas, Ollerus, Esther. Obviously I missed more people, but the Mentalmeister tag under their name would be a giveaway

If you really need a clarification on this, then the ones making gameplay design and balance changes are me and Ollerus, noone else.

There has been some confusion regarding my position with an exchange of insults. I am a tester, the one who goes through all the consequences of your suggestions, because the public wants this. No, I never claimed to be a developer, it was just merely your imagination, but Speeder already clarified it. Unlike some of us, I'm not parading as a developer and making promises, I merely channeled the inner thoughts regarding a discussion, which already happened a few times and the conclusions were no. It wasn't my decision, it was the developers' decision.

 

As for you little, miss Alstar. If you are going to be my shadow for the rest of your life, why not be a decent one? Because it seems that whenever I'm discussing something with someone, you always show up and start criticising me on personal grounds, for which I told you I cannot react to, because it doesn't worth the effort, besides it's flawed arguement. Speaking of which, that defines your entire career within the team. Bitching about everything, never doing anything. I might not be playing the public version, but as I already told you million of times, I'm still watching professional games, I even watched your videos for which you get pocket money for (and told you the errors you made), furthermore I read professional feedback, meanwhile you keep playing the public version and giving no shit about the version yet to be released. I can't help if you are this feeble-minded, but I already clarified everything millions of times, on the other hand I'm not going to engage or respond to any of your (false) claims about me. There are facts, which you also need to accept, but it seems that you still haven't grown up for this task yet, but it was expected from someone who always wants to balance the game, but never faces the potential consequences. It's easy for you to talk about gameplay changes, when

  • it isn't you who is making it
  • you don't even test missions which could be affected by the changes
  • you are more concerned about your little fans, than the direction the game is heading (happens, when somebody gets money from content he didn't help making)
  • you are the prime example of serious unprofessionalism, because you don't even realize how pointless all those changes you suggested were, because you just shifted the power elsewhere, meanwhile gave no shit about that missions became literally unplayable

Luckily, neither of us are to decide this. Well, more like you are no longer the one deciding this, because I never was involved in it to begin with, but fortunately it was realized that you are totally unfit for it, because it was painfully obvious that you were pushing your own agendas onto the project, with little regard of the other things.

 

As for you, random people who randomly insulted me. You really should stop being entitled little kids, who are upset, because they didn't get the present they wanted from Santa Claus, because it is toxic. I don't really expect gratitude for something I'm doing in my free time, because I like doing it (testing it is, helping at making sure that the version gets released with it being as free of flaws as possible), however it's rather shameful to call out such people. Meanwhile your beloved Alstar promises and never delivers. It isn't my responsibility to channel some thoughts from the inner circle regarding some subjects, which would be Alstar's duty as well as community leader or what the heck he was supposed to be, but again fails to deliver that, but I can see now why others don't really respond here. In any case, know your places, because I'm still getting to see stuff much earlier than you. :)

Missions can be adjusted for most of the changes suggested, especially for that theoretical SC duplication factory which can be made not buildable. There were plenty of changes that affected missions in a very bad way: stuff like Radar Tower being split into Bureau and Airbase which broke the entire 3.0 Soviet campaign (some missions don't have radar to this day), tesla coil changes that broke Singularity, Desolator range increase that was the sole reason to unneeded Tanya's range buff, sniper buffs that might affect some missions more than they should, Medic IFV mode change that made Panic Cycle and Wrong Side much harder than intended. I won't even mention the missions that were designed with no soviet airforce in mind yet the Foxtrots are a thing now and make the missions easier or harder, depending on which side you're on. The list goes on and on, but guess what - some of these things have been adjusted and the missions are playable again, while some are on the todo list. So I wouldn't say it's that much of a big deal.

In order to maintain balance, shall we consider the possibility of giving the vehicle duplication facility a price handicap, say +30%? 

This is technically possible with Industrial Plant logic.

I think the issue is finding the bugs not fixing the bugs.

There's about 100 missions in the game right now. If a unit is rebalanced how many missions does that break? As you said the Tesla Coil thing broke Singularity which isn't something I would expect to happen. So you have figure some way to narrow it down and test those missions you guess will break. Then you have to consider this for every change made to the game, which is around 50-100-ish changes? The you do the same for MP, which is as 12-node clusterfuckgraph with different interactions to balance against.

You basically have to do all of this before releasing the next patch.

TL;DR : I truly care about the game's well being so much I dont even bother interacting with the multiplayer community beyond watching supposed professionals.
Oh and I'll badmouth this guy because we've been at odds, totally not because of me btw dont worry guys, because clearly he has no idea what he's doing lmao. I mean come on it's not like he actually plays amirite fellas.

Oh and to those others than him who disagreed with me, you're kids and as such are irrelevant

The fact an individual such as him is still part of the testers team for this mod is quite honestly worrying and to an extent only serves to solidify the negative point of view some people have had regarding the balance of the mod.

All in all, Petya has once more made an impressive public display. Kudos to him

Would it be possible to add the "Tan" color the players have access to in "Red Resurrection", which the MO Chinese use in campaign?

If you're referring to the "rust" color in rr it's not the same as the light brown used in campaign. But I'd be on board. Maybe swap out brown.

It's probably too late now considering the game is huge now, but probably the best way to keep SP and MP separate would be to make a copy of every unit and building with a specific tag (like MP) so changing the MP stats wouldn't affect the missions. But this would be probably insane amounts of work.

Actually, you can edit only some of them in specific map like soviet ACT1 just gave FreeRadar on map that not have or may be invisible structure outside map that give you radar and it's will shut down when lower power.

 

On singularity just gave shorter CoilBolt range

 

I know that will very hard work ,maybe some case that critical only.
