Well, it's in the client's settings, video section. Try selecting TS-DDRAW Go to the full post

Greetings everyone!

I am here to report a small issue that I am experiencing, I am not familiar with this forum so if I addressed the wrong sub-section please let me know.

The issue is as follows:

When playing 1v1 the game does not lag, probably due to the small map but any more players than that and the game acts like it's on "slow" when it's really on "faster" and I get horrible fps drops on such maps, while playing 1v1 is fun, I'd prefer more of a challenge, I set the graphics to low and it got slower after a few minutes, setting the graphics to high however would crash the game when I select a unit, setting it to medium would crash it when I order an attack or any movement of more than 6 people.

I have no problem playing on low, but I do get kind of salty when I can't even run a 3 player map without the fps going as low as 6 or 10 fps.

If you want to have a laugh or if you simply feel that you have a mediocre computer please, feel welcome to look at my specs.

Intel core I7 5500U 2.40 ghz (Boosted to 3.1ghz with my charger on, and it is always on)

Nvidia Geforce 820M (Multi gpu)

8GB ram DDR3

Have a spectacular day.

More reason to not upgrade your OS despite whatever kind of security crap people tell you. Newer doesn't always mean better.

My window XP laptop works with zero problem despite being 10 years old. Spec is certainly not the cause.

What renderer are you using? I heard that IE-DDRAW causes massive lag spikes

But I got it like this, and downgrading my OS seems pretty advanced to me, I am notphoto-2314.jpg?rect=0,0,900,900&q=98&fm=

Should I set my compatibility mode to Windows 7?

How to tell what renderer I'm using, I would use the hackerman meme again but that wouldn't be necessary

Interestingly, when I tried to play the game on a notebook with Windows 10, it was exactly the defult renderer that resulted in horrible FPS and other issues, such as the game freezing when I pressed escape, and setting it to IE-DDRAW fixed both problems, although some visual glitches sometimes appeared on the maps selection screen.

Same, yeah. Default doesn't work so I'm using IE-DDRAW. Except without visual glitches. The only glitch that happens is that sometimes when the mission starts, half of the screen is missing, but after a few restarts it works normally again.

Until now I had the same problem with game running so slow and with low FPS, but on W8. ridiculous, what one renderer can cause.

This is what I see when anyone misspell Fury Drone as Furry Drone

I made a youtube playlist of songs that may have inspired mission names (at least 50% is correct and seen by Speeder himself)

Some Windows windows (yeah...) behave strangely with the game's renderer. Without looking at the code, some lag I get in 3.0 was due to the rest of Windows forms refreshing every frame the game updates (cool flickering buttons and menu bars! Seizure trigger warning!)

The computer works in strange voodoo.
