It goes into the game, then straight to disconnect menu...
I have firewall off, not sure what the problem is...

Are you running the game as administrator with Windows XP SP3 compatibility? Not doing that is known to cause that effect.

Toxic didn't ask you for your main OS, he asked if you were running the game in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3.
