I think i did it! :) How to export it to SEC?

Export the model as obj, I used these settings:

attachicon.gifsec_export.png

Follow this naming convention: <NAME>.sec.files\<NAME>.obj

Drag the folder onto ImageConverter.exe to generate a SEC file.

 

Use SECEditor.exe to change the attributes of the sectors.

 

Here are some important flags:

0000000005000000 = default terrain

0000000016000100 = walls
0000000014000000 = cannot walk but can see through (e.g. chairs)
0000000016000000 = cannot walk and cannot see through (e.g. tall lockers)

Important Minor Terrain Types:
ASFALTO       = asphalt (default)
AZULEJOS    = tiles
MADERA       = wood
METAL           = metal
 

 

Thanks Herbert! Created the SEC file!

I have send u the files in PM. Can u edit them into the mission as i'm not a very good modder.

I want to play it! :D

Commandos Разработка Toolkit (Рекс) может конвертировать OBJ файлы в MBI и SEC.

Также есть документ «OBJ_ConvertProcedure.en.htm» в папке Src \ Doc \ набора инструментов, который рассказывает вам, как конвертировать файлы. Думаю, 3ds Max - лучшая программа для создания подходящих 3D-моделей.

Последняя версия набора инструментов: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cmdt/ (версия 71)

Is there stil Some interest in this project? I would love to see interiors for BEL & BCD happen!

Biggest question to me is: how would that affect the gameplay? The original soldier placement doesn't really take such things into consideration.

The only way this would work is to basically redesign the missions. After all, interior areas can also contain goodies that you would not have access to in the original game - otherwise the interiors don't add much of actual value to begin with.
