Hello guys!

I've got a problem with the worldbuilder of bfme1. While the main window does start up in al its glory, I believe there should also pop-up a smaller Properties window with all of your crucial parameters. And I can't get that window to appear.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Any help appreciated!  :thumbsuphappy:

These are some guesses.

  • check to see if you have an extended screen (for when using dual screen or projectors), I've had stuff hidden there before
  • start Worldbuilder in compatibility mode
  • do other programs have this issue?

Thanks for your reply!

  • I do run a second monitor as an extended screen, but how can certain windows get hidden there? Anyway, I ran WB withoud second screen, and the same thing.
  • I started WB in compatibility mode optimized for XP sp 1,2 and 3, but still no luck.
  • As far as I know, only WB (bfme 1,2 & RotWK) has this issue. The only other program I have which uses multiple property windows, does not have any issue.

I also tried updating my video drivers, but WB couldn't care less. I'ts weird how it's impossible to find any info about this issue on the net. It's probably such an obvious flaw that no one ever had an issue with it xD

I'll continue to scan every inch of the internet for any possible solution. If i find anything, i'll post it here.
