After following the well created Common issues and Solutions I am still having issues will generals and zero hour.

• I have the ultimate collection from Origins only have Generals and ZH installed currently.
• I Installed the fixed launchers Successfully.
• I had C&C Online but uninstalled it and installed Gentool.
• When it come to launching the game i get an error for: (See capture) 
• Which I believe is due to the not having the  patch 1.08 - this is also not loading correctly.
• I have all my game files on a different SSD and when I attempt to load the patch that you provided I get (See capture2)
• I have looked through the forums and have yet to find anyone else with the same issue. 

What I have done so far:

 

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled all programs, i.e. Gentools, Generals/Generals ZH and reloaded the fixed launcher. Then followed the instructions again from the Common issues and Solutions pinned page.

I have noticed after I install the fixed launcher the game will give me the error which leads me to believe that not having the patch is whats causing the game to crash. game does launch with gentools loaded.

Installed file locations (Capture 3) 

How can I load this patch with all my files in a different location, becuase it seems to me that the patch is looking for the 'old file'  in a different dir. 

 

If anyone has any information that could help me that would make my day, haven't played generals in a long time and found that you guy have these amazing servers and I just wanna play :(

-- I know answering my own question... I found from a previous topic that I dont need the patch since i have the game from origin, but i still get the error after I load the fixed loader issue. I can confirm this because I tested it by loading the game before installing the fix load then loading the game again after the installer and then the error occurs. I tried copying the old .dll file from the original downloaded copy then after loading the fixed loader, copying the original over in the folder. Still getting the same error... However,  The game works after clicking 'OK' about 50 times it goes away. I don't know why... Again if anyone has any supporting information that could help me resolve this issue that would be appreciated. Thank you.

You may have corrupted your game by trying to patch it. I suggest that you uninstall and remove it completely and install it again from Origin. You will need to install the C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers and GenTool
again.

Do not ever patch games from Origin or Steam. They come pre-patched.

Thank you for your reply, I figured that out when I checked the version of general so I didn't patch the game.

 

I did do a complete uninstalled of both gentools and command and conquer from origin.

 

Then followed the Common issues and Solutions list after, but the problem occurs after I installed the launcher and the gen tools. Is there an order in which the two need to be loaded?

By "the launcher", presumably you mean Bibber's fixed launchers (because you shouldn't be using the C&C:Online launcher with that game)? I would install the fixed launchers first (after you have installed the game but before you install Gentool) but I don't think that that would make a great deal of difference.

This is correct i do me the fixed launcher. I mean the game works just have to click ok on this error message about 50 times then it eventually opens.. I'll try it in that order this time and see where that gets me.
