Ok so I got Red Alert 3 on steam sale and me and my brother wanna PvP  each other over the internet that's why we got it and found out the severs have been turned off so we cant then I found C&C Online which says you can still play online etc etc

 

Ok to start off with I have made an account username password email downloaded C&C Online installed hooked RA3 etc

So the game boots up fine but the problem I am having is this when I go to online it wont let me log in it keeps saying this (The specified Online ID or account name is already in use.)

 

And I have searched the forums and it says I need to claim it back but how do I claim it back because I think I seen a post I need a link or something from this site http://www.shatabrick.com/gamespy/ but when I click on RA3 and search for me nothing comes up so I'm pretty confused right now can some give me a hand here

 

(Am I this stupid is it something real simple that I'm missing or over looking  )

You make a claim only if you have played the games on the GameSpy servers between November 2011 and July 2014. You do this in the Member management forum by these instructions.

 

Otherwise, you simply enter a completely new nickname, provided it's not used by someone else.
