So today i was planning to play C&C: Kanes Wrath online, i hadn't played it in forever and didn't realize the online servers had been shut down, i googled for a bit and came across this website, made my account, dowloaded the C&C: Online tool, and followed the different steps, now if i did not missunderstand im supposed to launch Kanes Wrath through the C&C: Online tool, so i pressed the launch button and this appear:

However once it dissapear thats it, the game doesnt start up and the process seems to stop running. I tried launching Kanes Wrath through Steam and login just normally but all it said was "Couldn't make connection to backend" or something along those lines, so if im not mistaken im still supposed to launch through C&C: Online, but im not entirely sure why it wont work. 

 

Any help would be appreciated, feel free to ask questions if any further explanation is needed.

Hi, I think you should hook your game.

Open a C&C:Online launcher, click the hook menu, and click Kane's Wrath inside the hook menu.

You should see a tick sign in the menu if the hook is successful.

After having hooked your game, close that C&C:Online launcher.

 

From now, you just need to start your game from Steam (or from a desktop shortcut). A C&C:Online Launcher will be started (instead of your game). Now, click "Kane's Wrath" button inside this C&C:Online launcher, and the game will be launched.

 

If you want to unhook the game, just click Kane's Wrath inside the hook menu again. The tick sign should disappear.

You login with C&C:Online credentials. If it's Kane's Wrath, login with your Server login name, server password (you can check your server login name & password on https://cnc-online.net/account/)and a nickname of your choice.

If it's Red Alert 3 or Zero Hour, then you need to use E-mail address instead of Server Login Name.
