Can't get online - CCG/ZH

If I click login the game freezes for a moment, and then I get a message reading,

"Notification

Could not connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online."

Ah. It looks like your provider is blocking a port you need to connect to this service (TCP Port 6667). That exact problem would have existed under gamespy too.

We have been looking at a solution for this but the ETA on making that available is now way off. I suggest that you find a proxy service near you (you can google for that) and use that, which will avoid the problem altogether. You ought to be able to find a service that is free of charge. In addition, there are some suggestions for a VPN; here

man muss einfach sich hier richtig registrieren fürs game bei zero hour und nur mit diesen login daten kommst du ins game ;)

Translated: you just have to sign up right here for game at zero hour and only with these login data you come in game ;)



 
Unfortunately, that is not the problem in this case.

You need to make Port forwarding and correct settings in ZH.

 

So the last two steps in the following description:
