You can change the game speed of skirmish and multiplayer in the game setup screen, the same one where you choose map, modes, sides, locations, etc.

 

Can't change game speed of singleplayer campaign though.

install Notepad++

install the HexEditor.dll plugin for notepad ++

in notepad ++, click File - Open and find the folder with mental omega installed

You will need to edit 2 files. game.exe and gamemd.exe

Click on the top menu Plugins - HEX-Editor - View in HEX

 

1) for game.exe

On the left are line numbers. You need to find the line 00115430. It has columns 9 and A, i.e. these are numbers 00115439 and 0011543a. They have values ​​74 07 . These values ​​74 07 must be changed to 90 90 and click File - Save. All!

 

2) for gamemd.exe

line 0012F940. There we change the same 74 07 to 90 90.
