Why do you all hate PsiCorps... I'm guessing ya'll too lazy to micromanage your Masterminds and Adepts...

Magnetron's and Magnetic Beam can stop entire battalions in their tracks almost every single unit can be stopped by them, leaving them vulnerable to Mind Control and Marauders damn long range... They also have a huge advantage when the maps got water, Magnetrons+Elite Adepts..

Gehenna Platforms i admit needs their Dybukk-AA fighters health to be increased, And when that happens Coronia better hide...

They make lack firepower, but to compensate they use their enemies firepower against them.. When used well you can turn an entire Last Bastion army against them! It just takes alittlebit more practice and micromanagement to use this faction effectively, You don't just build alot of troops and overflow your enemies base with em'

Going back to the main discussion i believe that all the factions are balanced, they're just a few final tweaks needed (i'm looking at you Eureka) i personally voted for European Alliance since they lack support powers...

This probably.

PsiCorps seems like a faction designed around not fighting the enemy directly. Lasher have rapid-fire shots for rapid engagement. Marauders were meant to kite. Magnet tech prevents enemy tanks from touching you. Masterminds are tanky, sure, but you're not suppose to dive enemy lines with them.

The intended way to play seems to be to abuse magnets and mind control while avoiding losses to your army.

Most players I've seen though seem to just play normal infantry-spam Epsilon + Gatling, so half the time, I don't even realize I'm fighting PsiCorps.

Here's the two cents worth of a n00b. :)

I think that the factions are pretty well balanced. Some are just harder or easier to use competitively depending on the situation.

I think of three factions in particular - Euro Alliance, Psicorps, and Latin Confederation - as support factions. They're easier to use when you're part of a team than on your own. True masters can turn them into absolute killers in a 1v1, I'm sure, but for the rest of us...

Here's what I mean. These subfactions are best with teammates of different strengths to complement them.

With Euro Alliance, you're at your best when you have a teammate with a strong offensive faction, say USA or Haihead. The offensive player keeps the enemy on his toes and off of the back of the EA player, who builds up his strength. Late-game, the EA player both acts as a shield and brings his offensive portential to bear.

With Latin Confederation and especially Psicorps, your job is to harass the enemy and throw them off. This works best when you have a teammate who is better at straight up fighting, like USA or Russia. Your harassment enables them to build up their offensive.

Very opinionated comment here, your mileage may vary yadda yadda: Guerrilla as a primary strategy is hard to make competitive 1v1. Straight up assault is more damaging and less likely to go wrong. However, in team games, you have mates to cover your back while you carry out guerrilla. So it makes more sense.

Games are more fun when people use subfaction-specific stuff. #2cents
