Kappa because of speed, agility and because it's amphibious - a nice feature. It cannot 1v1 other MBTs, but can quickly reinforce frontline units. Also, it's quite useful when map has water but you cannot build a shipyard. Not sure if it still has enhanced backwrap. Kappa.

Pretty sure you can't use speed and agility to describe the Kappa when it's the slowest Ally mbt xd But, with seals and robot tanks, an amphibious assault can prove to be the death of the enemy.

Jaguar. High damage, cheap, Fast and a kamikaze pilot who can take out infantry. What more could you ask

Tch,they were buffed in 3.3/3.3.1 so they're faster but lighter. But I probably exaggerated :p. Cavalier and Qilin are worth mentioning too.

Opus tanks , I never ever use them . They don't seem cost effective to me , garrisoning them gives only a marginal increase in their fire power for at least an increase of 100$ . And I would argue that garrisoning them when you have a cloning chamber is not effective , as you have access to colossus's and it requires a lot more micro management, despite it being more cost effective .

I love Jaguar tanks though , they have a perfect balance between speed , armor and fire power . They also have a good build time and are cheap enough to be spam-able .

Out of curiosity I tested some of the tanks and the results weren't far from expected.

Rhinos and Jaguars seem to have the same damage output, so the appeal of Rhinos is purely durability.

Opuses with passengers do slightly more damage than Rhinos or Jaguars (~4%) at the same cost/speed as a Jaguar, but then Jaguars have 10% more health, so passenger-based gimmicks seem to be the way to go. The bonus from having a passenger is 1/3rd. Funnily enough even without passengers they're still better pure battle tanks than Bulldogs/Kappas (obviously those units are faster and have other uses).

Qilins vastly outperform everything else, as expected.

Not against Bisons.

True, good point. Then again if we're going to phrase things in purely tank vs tank terms Draco wins since nothing can shoot up.

Im surprised not many people like Cyclops. It's one of the most fun tanks to use with its mobility, close ranged damage boost, and instant turret rotation.

Even in mentalomega.com, their weapons have the exact same name. So this won't come out too surprising.

Rhinos because nostalgia :3
They still can kick the asses of other tier 1 MBTs regardless of what funny gimmicks they have except the qilin since the rhino is supposed to be cheaper and faster than it back when the qilin was just a heavy tank.
Though I wonder, since every MBT got one unique ability, when would Rhinos get one?( though i still think they are doing fine right now).

Being paradroppable of course!

While true that they are paradrop-able, it's only once the Palace is built. Lose the Palace and gone is the Tank Drop.

I feel that this topic and poll were made with the "straight out of WF" use in mind. Not needing the full Tech Tree unlocked and safe in order to utelize it

Bison, Qilin, Cavalier, Bulldog (abilities), Lasher, and Rhino (design-wise) are the ones I choose.

No they don't. One of them's 120mm and the other's 105mm. In fact that was why I wanted to test them in the first place, because the supposed weapon types didn't seem to match up to reality. Really there's no correlation.

The only difference actual Jaguar's weapon has in the code is the name: it is 120mmJaguar, while Rhino uses 120mm. Other stats are identical: 90 damage, 65 ROF and 5.75 range. Which is kinda strange, I expected Rhino to have a slightly stronger gun. Qilin has 70 damage, but fires in a burst of 2, which would equal 140.

Bulldog for their sheer speed and anti-infantry work. Jaguar for their speed and driver. Mantis tanks for their speed and... I think there may be a common theme here...

Well, I'll count myself as a fan of the three Foehn tanks too: Cyclops is as cool as destructive, the Draco's concept is an interesting one, and the drone turret lets you with an harassing tool even once it's destroyed, and the Bison will just stop everything thrown at it. Just wonderful units.

Rhino. A well-rounded, good tank, it has nothing fancy on it, but no fatal weaknesses either.

Increase Rhino's firepower and DPS, but in drawback you can't control that tank.
