hi iv recently created an account to play generals but there is 0players. why is that? all other games have players

Hi, glad to see someone still playing generals. I am trying to play generals but unable to get to its online version. Can you guide me on how to go online with generals. Btw I already play tiberium wars online.
Do I have to use some kind of patch to launch generals?
