Hey, i just downloaded all the files and all the stuff for ROTWK to work and it does except for the online. When I click 'online' and get sent to the login section (where you login t3a if it were bfme 2) the game wont let me log in, saying I need to update. This happens if I am hooked or not, using the t3a startup. I foolishly updated about a week ago, after not finding anybody with the same issue online, and its the 2007 update from EA. The only thing I did differently than Destroyers download guide is that I used my own physical disk to start the game. Not sure if that is the issue or what. Could there be some type of EA autoupdate feature from using my own disk?

Can you re-install the official patches manually and apply the other patches again afterwards?

For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

I have the same problem, I'm using 2.02 and it says I have to update each time I try to play online.

Edit: Just tried ICT's solution and it worked, thanks. I had to uninstall the game, reinstall, update with the official updater and then apply 2.02 patch

Good,

It's similar for RotWK: For those that experience the issue of being asked to download an update every time they try to log in to T3A:Online, make sure to try the following three things:

1. Ensure you have a clean install of the original game (ie. not Forshire's Special Edition), can be gotten here: https://forums.revor...allation-guide/

2. Manually install patch 2.01 by downloading it and running it (link: https://www.gamerepl...-2.01-downloads) and then install 2.02

3. Ensure you have HOOKED RotWK from the T3A:Online Launcher (by ticking the RotWK box under the Hook option in the menu)

Yes, 2.01 is possible, but 2.02 with the new game.dat is recommended.
