Creating a new building model

Hello,

I'm trying to create a new unit production building which will be used to produce Dunlending units. It has the looks of a small camp with a watchtower, some huts and a tree. This brings me to my two questions about this building and buildings and general.

1. I want to have multiple dunland units animated as part of the camp model, either idle or with a precise cosmetic task. The only problem I'm running in is the inability to have multiple of the same skeletons, is there any way to have multiple of the same unit using their idle animation just giving more life to the model or do I have to import different units?

 

2. I tried to add an animated axethrower to the watchtower to serve as defense but every time I test the model using W3DView it would become some sort of monstrosity with the body parts flailing randomly (as seen on the attachment). If I bind the model right at the sport with the W3D importer imports it, it's all good. But if I move it either before or after binding it then this happens.
