hi friends

 

very new here! and very rookie but I followed instructions from the site C&C Online without problems

 

now I try to start kane wrath form C&C Online software but after kane wrath splash screen nothing happens and disappear splash screen

 

kane wrath start normally from it's shortcut

 

I have 1.02 patch win10 64 bit OS

I have same problems, can run the game without C&C Online but not through it. I use Steam version of Tiberium wars.

hi ToxicShock thanks for fast reply

 

1 - I start app C&C Online

2 - I push button kane's Wrath

3 - I see Kane's Wrath splash screen for around 15 secs

4 - I receive error windows that says: "CA public key patching routine failed"

Sorry, I need to see the log that is generated.

 

How to Report Issues  

Your error log file. This can be found by typing %TEMP% into your Windows search bar. The file you need is called CNCOnline_Log.txt. You may upload it into your post or copy and paste its contents.

Hi Kem1138 Try to change the Launcher Option from Windows 8 to 7 and Restart the Computer that solved the Problem for me (Windows10Pro 64bit)

great tips MasterJohn it worked !!  

 

but after I have another prob

 

go in multiplayer then online used my C&COnline user and pwd chosed online id and then clicked "login"

 

and after some secs I received message: "Impossible to connect to remote server"

 

where I'm doing wrong?

now I tried to go in the hall room and I tried to start a game

 

others players tried to join but they said that can see my user

 

I noticed that my "antenna icon" is red that means if I m not wrong that I have bad connection

 

how to improve that?

 

I have a good DSL provider and the pc is cable connected to router

I see.    You are best setting up your computer as the  DMZ.    You do that from your Modem so you will have to google your modem for instructions.

the problem is that my router allows only 1 DMZ IP that actually is reserved for videosurveillance 

 

maybe soon I will have a new router from a different ISP but until there do I have other solutions to fix the problem?

Oh.   That is probably the problem.     The DMZ will send everything to the device used for the video surveillance, so the packets are not going to get through to your computer.     You will not be able to play these games if you have a DMZ set to a different device.    Can the video surveillance work without a DMZ?

no I tried to move DMZ away from NVR and cameras are not more accessible

 

for now my only way to make all work is to do this:

 

(ACTUAL ROUTER with 1 DMZ only) --> (SECONDARY ROUTER on the DMZ) --> (ALL DEVICES OF MY NETWORK)

 

not complicated but I want to avoid this by now

 

@ToxicShock: is this the only way to play online ?

Yes, I am afraid you will have to do that if you really need to set the camera devices as the DMZ.       You've told your modem to send all UDP packets to those devices and the player to player packets in these games are UDP.

I'm back with some news and ... I again need support

 

finally new ISP arrived and now I can use my old but good DLink DIR655 as router, in this router I can set many different DMZ - I will update soon

 

bad news: I tried to install tiberium wars and kane wrath from steam in my secondary pc (a laptop) 

 

tiberium wars works ok but kane wrath after many seconds of splash screen this splash screen disappear and nothing happens only desktop view ... can you help me?

I followed your PM on my laptop pc (win10 64 bit) but same result: after some seconds splash screen disappear

 

a question: do I have to install also C&C Online Launcher?
